I
The waves of pain, the moaning
The giving of birth
To my hallucinations
A cave full of birds
Waters rising in the night
I am swimming in the blue of my mind

II
Onto the land I seek to find
A lemon-tree
An orange
and roses of silk
wild flowers of purple, red, yellow, blue tint
blooming to the sky
III
In my heart lilacs of spring
followed the way
through the marble gate
Walking in the town
I saw her eye that followed mine
Stranger am I
Alone in the dream
Alone in white lands of snow
Distant birds circling above
silent sound
Only wings of desire I hear
In the sky
IV
Little little birds in my eyes
see the little birds inside the cage
Yellow birds, little friends, little little birds yellow friends

A private cage
a secret place
to warm my soul
to rest in silent thoughts
to dream
to wake
a different man

I feel my heart warm
my shadow thins
Ice is melting
past touches haunt my thoughts
and feelings
Be patient
Ice is melting inside my head
I long for the cradling
touch I've never felt
V
Night is falling in deep darkness
Is filling people, is filling sounds
sparkling, pretty eyes
promising, curious glances
Almost forever here I've been waiting
for your hand to hold
In the mid of night
Strangers in our time
VI
Wonderful day
frozen am I, the wind is hot
a morning so sweet and bright
blow the wind blow
and purple lilacs blow
and bringing whispers to my love
Air is clear and scented
Light shines to open eyes and arms

Now my soul remembers
lands I'm coming from
how I came here

And I still remember the waters
And the wild waves
how I came here

I'm the snowman far away
far away far away
A nocturnal piece of white
a frozen tear
has blurred my view
My glow has led to death

I'm the ice
